Rental Terms and Conditions
General Terms
- Supplier may refuse or cancel booking if renting requirements are not met.
- Driver's card must have sufficient funds; valid driving license and passport required.
- Additional drivers must meet the same license requirements; fees may apply.
- Free airport shuttle within office hours for stations outside airport perimeter.
- Vehicles must be returned at the rental station in the same condition, fuel included.
- Roadside assistance available; driver negligence may incur charges.
- No-show without notice may result in a fee.
- Local tolls or highway fees paid on the spot by the driver.
- Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles.
Security Deposit
- Required at vehicle collection according to chosen insurance package.
- Cash deposits not accepted.
Restricted Roads / Areas
- Off-road driving prohibited; vehicles equipped with GPS trackers.
- Insurance does not cover off-road damage; €300 penalty applies for violations.
Optional Items / Extras
- Special equipment may be requested but is subject to availability and change.
Traffic Infringements & Fines
- Renter responsible for all fines; administration fee applies.
Age Rules
- Minimum 21 years for MINI, ECONOMY, COMPACT, INTERMEDIATE; others 24 years.
- Maximum age 85 years; additional fee applies for young/senior drivers.
Mileage Policy
- Unlimited mileage included; fair usage policy applies.
Fuel Policy
- Same-to-Same: Return car with same fuel level; missing fuel charged plus €20 fee.
One-Way Rentals
- Allowed with 48-hour notice; one-way fee applies.
Driver Licence Rules
- Valid license from country of residence required, held minimum 1 year.
- International or translated licenses required if non-Latin alphabet.
- Additional ID and proof of address may be requested.
Amendments to Bookings
- Notify office immediately of delays; early returns or downgrades not refunded.
Cancellation Policy
- Written cancellation required; telephone cancellations not accepted.
- Full refund up to 48h before pick-up; 50% 24–48h; no refund <24h.
- Refund may take up to 30 business days.
Compensation Policy
- For unaccommodated bookings, compensation may reach the booking price maximum.
Service Out of Business Hours
- Available on request; fees apply.
Full Terms
- Additional drivers: up to 3; €5/day, max €50.
- Out of hours pick-up/drop-off: €50 including airport fee.
- Late return: >60 minutes charged full day plus €25 fee.
- Age requirements: 21–85 years; extra fees for <24 or >71 years.
- Cross Border: requires written permission; fees may apply.
- Damage Waiver (CDW): deductible varies by car group; certain damages excluded.
- Delivery & Collection: on request; €1/km + VAT applies.
- One-Way Drop: available on request; fee applies.
- Inclusive Policy: rental includes mileage, CDW, TP, liability, airport fees, VAT.
- Payment: cash, credit, debit; card must be driver’s name. Virtual/prepaid cards not accepted.
- Deposit: credit/debit card hold; varies by car group.
- Roadside Assistance: free 24/7; restricted roads towing costs borne by renter.
- Renter Requirements: driving license 12+ months; ID or translation may be requested.
- Full Damage Waiver (FDW): optional; reduces CDW excess to zero, excludes certain damages.
- Wheels, Underside, Glass (WUG): optional; requires FDW.
- Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP): covers up to €1,220,000 per person/property.
- Theft Protection (TW): deductible varies by car group; certain cases not covered.
